Joan DiMaggio: A foundation predicated on education and continued learning

A strong educational background is a key component in getting results while avoiding injuries that can derail any fitness program. A personal trainer with a weekend certification course can be a recipe for disaster. And, just because someone looks fit doesn't mean they're fit to be entrusted with the health of others. A fitness regimen that works for one may be detrimental for another. Like most fields, health and fitness are ever-changing and a strong baseline education is only the beginning. It is equally important to continually be well-read, broaden competencies, and stay current with trends and changes.

Joan DiMaggio has a B.S. degree in Health Sciences and Exercise Physiology and has worked in the fitness industry for over 25 years. She has worked in small and large gyms, country clubs and owned her own gym. Most recently, she has been training clients in the comfort of their own homes, condos, offices, and community gyms. She finds this is the most convenient option for many clients and helps keep them focused and motivated to commit to a fitness program. But don't take it from her...check out the testimonials from past and current clients and see for yourself.

Making house calls a fitness norm

Gyms aren't for everyone. They can be noisy, dirty and intimidating. Keep your fitness routine from being a chore by exercising with a professional in the comfort of your own surroundings. Workouts require little more space than that of a fitness mat. No two programs are ever the same and are tailored to meet your individual needs. Whether you're looking to improve your golf or tennis game, become more mobile and independent, gain balance and flexibility, or just look and feel better, we can create a safe, effective program for you.
